When a prospective client messaged us to see if we could help her bring her rather sorry table and bench back to life we were more than happy to oblige... Afterall, this is exactly what we are renowned for!
So we collected the items (and residents) from the client and transported back to the workshop. After disassembling the bench and table, stripping them of all dirt and years of stain before priming them to ensure a uniform finish.

After disassembling the bench and table, stripping them of all dirt and years of stain before priming them to ensure a uniform finish. Our client opted for chunky slats made from reclaimed constructional timber for increased stability and allowed us to increase the size of the bench to 1.5m wide and all metalwork finished in matt black to produce a classic cast iron look. We then topped this off with a tailored 2cm wide central back support shaped to perfectly follow the curves of the bench.
All the woodwork was then finished with 3 coats of red mahogany stain with a light sand in between coats to give a rich warm finish as specified by the client.
The finished items were then delivered back to the client who with her cats approval sent us the following message...
